Holidays

The boys are now old enough to start understanding and appreciating some of the traditions around holidays. We dressed them up for Halloween again this year, and they seemed to like their costumes.

We had a whole Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Tinkerbell theme going, but at the last minute Madeline decided she wanted to be Cinderella.

They enjoyed pumpkin carving for about 10 seconds, leaving Dad to carve it on his own.

Four seconds in, Owen already lost interest.

Scary faces.

The boys went trick-or-treating for the first time. They didn't really understand it, but they did like walking around the neighborhood with other kids.

This is the lobby of the first building we lived in
in Hong Kong. It was one of the stops on
our trick-or-treat route.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with a couple of other families at a friend's house. Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the actual dinner, but I do have some pictures of the kids dressed up in their Sunday best.

And now Christmas is on its way. We had a staff Christmas party last week where the boys got to meet Santa for the first time.

More photos and updates to come!
