We are a month and a half into our new life here in England, and things are looking peachy! Wait, peachy would imply peaches, which would imply farming, which would imply sun. Never mind.
We've had a few adventures in and around London. We attended the Notting Hill carnival, which has Caribbean theme. It reminded me of that movie
Notting Hill, where two rastas played by Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant find love. There was going to be a "parade" and a "great time had by all." If you call a caravan of very loud, slow-moving, drunk, booty-shaking people a parade, then you would have had a great time. The only redeeming part of the carnival was eating jerk chicken and seeing our friend Kelly covered in chocolate. I am just too old for this, mon.

| The Jerk Centre called. You're employee of the month. |
We've taken a few "new teacher" trips organized by the school. The first was to Oxford, where we saw all things Harry Potter, including the tree Draco Malfoy jumps out of and Emma Watson IN THE FLESH. I'm not kidding. She was literally 2 meters away from me. Ryan could have reached out and pinched her butt, but he was so focused on the tour that he completely missed her.

| Dracoy Malfoy wuz here. |
 |
| At Yardale, where I had a 4-0 grade point average. |
 |
| Relaxing in a boat cruising around Oxford. |
 |
You can hire someone to punt the boat. I think Sarah and Courtney are
very happy to have strapping young Edward as our punter.
|
Also, we had our first guest!! Our friend and Ryan's softball teammate, Eli, came to London on business. It was so nice to see a familiar face! Hint hint.

| We heart our first guest! |

I can't believe you didn't pinch Emma Watson's butt! Isn't she supposed to be in college in the States?!
Loved the post, Rachel! You make me look bad. I have yet to post anything about India on our blog.
Miss you and can't wait to visit in April! Wooot!
