Fooled you! It's Hong Kong!

Today Ryan's new softball buddy, Tim, and his wife, Lena, took us to a beach just 2 hours away from our house. It was a gorgeous day - 84 degrees and clear skies. We took a taxi over to Kowloon and then got dropped off at a pier, where an old Chinese lady bossed everyone around onto boats. Tim's done this many times, speaks excellent Cantonese, and he still can't make sense of it all. We were quickly shuttled on to a boat, and another old Chinese lady drove us to a pier about 15 minutes away. We walked for 45 minutes and arrived at this beautiful beach!

Surprisingly, I was the last one in line on the downhills. 

Nora Ephron once said she regretted not spending more time in a bikini through the age of 35. She wrote When Harry Met Sally, so I pretty much listen to everything she says. I plan on spending the next 10 months in a bikini.

Ryan wasn't feeling the frisbee at the beach today, so I had to represent Team Kirchner. I'll toot my own horn and say I catch and throw a mean Aerobie.
