Madeline is 10 Months Old!

Madeline has graduated from worming across the room to full on crawling! Well, most of the time. Every once in a while she regresses, collapsing onto her chest and slithering. She enjoys crawling through Daddy's homemade blanket tunnels, getting into the umbrella basket, and using her baby-dar to locate any and all paper products in the room so she can eat them.

May was a special month because it was my first Mother's Day! I was fortunate enough to celebrate with my daughter and mother.

3 generations on Mother's Day!
Roxana the Fox held down the fort (along with some help from Auntie Janeth) while Daddy went on a school trip and I went to Washington, DC for a conference. Madeline loved having Abuela to spoil her, and she barely noticed we were gone!

While in the US I was able to spend a couple of nights with my childhood bestie Joanne and her beautiful family. We went for a hike in the woods, feasted on yummy barbecue, and played a few intense games of Qwirkle with the kids.

It's good to know that my fairy godchildren love games as much as me!
Into the woods we go!
Saying good-bye is so hard.
Here I am with my LearnZillion team. Many of us will be writing units on
proportional reasoning, hence the "P" we are holding.
Ryan enjoying his school trip to Thailand!
We are happy to report that Madeline's red cheeks are no longer red! We battled with this rash/eczema/dry skin/whoknowswhat for the last few months. But it seems to be gone, at least for now, and we are all breathing a sigh of relief. Well, Mom and Dad are, but Madeline was never bothered.

We love this face!
