I've been off the blog scene for a while because we were busy enjoying our best summer ever in the US! After a
whirlwind year at work, it was time for a little R & R for R & R & M.
We spent 6 glorious weeks in California and 10 days in Colorado. I'll tell our story through Madeline's eyes, in pictures...
It was sunny and hot in Hong Kong, so we knew we had
to get out quickly. |
| Hooray! The California Coast, where the weather is always perfect. |
| I got to swing in a big swing at Grandpa Mike and Grandma Renee's house, |
| and I got to see goats. |
| I learned that sand is not for eating. |
| I traveled by car, by plane, by palanquin to Colorado |
| where I met my cousins |
| and played dress up. |
| My aunt threw me a birthday party for my first birthday. |
| I got really good at crawling, |
| standing, |
| getting into mischief, |
| flipping, |
| and kissing. (Ssshhhh, don't tell Dad.) |
| I saw all of my grandparents, honorary grandparents, and I even met my great-grandfather. |
| All that traveling made me tired! |
