CNY Visitors

Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Joe came again for their annual Chinese New Year visit. Well, they've only done it twice, but we're hoping they continue this visit annually in the years to come.

We took in some of the usual Hong Kong sites:

Victoria Park, where Grandma showed us she's still young by spinning all the kids around on her back.

The boys took their first bus ride as we headed to Tamar Park with the grandparents.

After the boys went home for a nap, the grandparents and Daddy
took Maddy on the ferris wheel.
The Botanical and Zoological Gardens:

The best cuddles are during TV time. It's the only time the boys will be still!

Victoria Peak:
Grandma is enjoying matcha tea.

They brought great gifts, including these fun costumes!

And they brought my children's new favorite friend, Weida. Weida was an exchange student from China and lived with Barb and Joe in California for a semester many years ago. He is now back in Beijing and was celebrating CNY close to HK with his parents, so he popped over to the island for two nights.

Barb, Joe, and Weida went to Cambodia for a few days while
Ryan and I went back to work. I love this picture they sent!

Back in HK for a night, getting in some cuddles before flying to California.

Happy hour with adults at the top of the Excelsior Hotel.
