After their week-long British invasion, Renee and Mike headed to southern France for a week and then slowly made their way up to Paris. It took a lot of convincing (Hey guys, want to meet us in Par- ....Yes!), but Ryan and I took the Eurostar to meet them in the City of Lights for a weekend.
I love European flats. What they lack in space, they make up for in charm. When that fails, you look to the next best thing....what they lack in charm, they make up for in location. And sometimes that's not redeeming enough. This is the original flat they rented. Watch how we play a real-life version of
Unblock Me to exit the apartment.

While Ryan and I were living in California, we had wonderful French neighbors. They recently moved back to Paris. Perfect timing for our European year-long adventure! We were able to meet up with them for lunch.
